Just to clarify: IIRC, the very earliest SEs do have a slot, but no cut-out in the chassis above the slot, so that all expansion cards had to be mounted horizontally. The consequence was that most SE expansion cards were fitted in that way. Is my assumption correct, or has someone seen an SE logic board with no slot at all?
