I think iCab is the best browser for 68k machines, though I've never tried it on an '040 before. It's what I use on my SE/30, and I occasionally use it on our G4 as well. On that note, if and when you download it, make sure you download the 68k version... The closest thing I've got to a "575" is my PB 190 which has Netscape 4.0.8 (?) on it now and the machine is running OS 7.6.1, with 40M of RAM, so you should be good on that. On my CC/550 (32M RAM, OS 7.5.3), Internet Explorer 2.1 (?) was loaded on the hard drive already, and the few times I've used it, it seemed to work pretty decent. I've also got iCab on the machine, but I've never tried seeing which was "quicker". All that said, here's the main reason I like iCab: It's still being developed for the 68k Mac.
