Possible but not recommended. Assuming you are talking about a broadband
connection you'll need two Ethernet interfaces. You can do it with one but
it is strongly recommended against. It will have to be a SE/30. But the
only way to get two NICs is to use a PDS card and a SCSI-Ethernet interface.
If you use the pass-through PDS capability with a PDS right angle adapter
and some clever adaptation of the ethernet back panel (or are willing to
case-mod) you can get two PDS ethernet adapters in one SE/30. I have done
this, and Asante made it pretty easy since you can manually set the
adderss of each card with jumpers.
I also have a dual ethernet, accelerated (thanks to a twin PDS adapter
from a IIsi) SE/30 assembled that I need to test - I had to give up the
internal hard drive bay for the accelerator to fit, but it all does fit.
