Yet another Rating System (YaRS)

So, I'm setting here looking at all the Macs and thinking I need to 
thin some of these out.  Wanting to keep only the best ones for the 
money (and being extremely anal retentive), I want to build a rating 
system for not just compacts, but all systems.  So, my question to the 
collected wisdom...

What is it that you look for in a system?  Expandability? Portability? 
'Cuteness'? Rareness? Speed?

Maybe I'll build an actual web interface and put it on the internet.
