Hi;

    The first mention of the MacChimney that I know of was in the original
Mac Bible (The Macintosh Bible, Dale Coleman and Arthur Naiman, 1987).

    According to the book, it was available from Tom Swain for $15. The
description of the chimney, how it worked and the need for cooling the Mac
ran four pages...

    And yes, it looked like a chimney.
