For everyone's benefit, can I remind people that by keeping pretty close to the brief of the list (Compact Macs) we generally avoid most off-topic stuff and, just as crucially, the ensuing debates about why one person's off-topic post was flagged, while another was ignored?

So, I flag them all, unless there are overwhelming reasons not to do so.

LEM operates a 'once removed' rule to allow topics that are close to the list's brief.

In this case, it's "well removed" as only cannibalised CCs run 9.1.

So, all replies off list, please.
