Hi Guys,

I'm new to the list - so, firstly - Hello :)

I'm hoping for some advice. I've just inherited two Color Classics - both
working from a boot disk but both without hard disks.

I've found these hard disks on Australia's eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/

Will these work with a Color Classic?

In principle, yes. But two issues may arise; earlier Apple s/w (HD setup etc) requires 'Apple ROMs' on HDs to format them, but you can either use a patched version to avoid that issue, or one of numerous 3rd party utilities.

The second point is that 7200rpm drives may run a little warm in the confines of the bottom of a CC. I wouldn't run one in the 30 degrees + (90+ for centigradally challenged readers) of an Australian summer!
