Two things -- 1) Anybody see any reason why I can't put a 128/512k logic board in a Plus chassis?
2) What about adapting the Color Classic's analog board's pin-outs to run a Mac 128k logic board? (I know I'm going in the wrong direction here, but bare with me). After buying several Classic Macs from eBay, I had some analog boards go out in the 128 & 512ks while I lost some logic boards in Mac Plusi (Pluseses?) and Color Classics. The Mac 128k to Plus seems like a no brainier (if there are no hidden power issues I'm not aware of), but I got to thinking, wouldn't it be cool to have a black & white screen on a Color Classic running original System 1.0 software! But can it be done? -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
