     Rob,
     The drive is 3.5" format, so the width and length of the drive is no
problem.  The drive is 41 mm high:

Open up yer Colour Classic and measure the height of the hard drive bay.
     My question is whether the Colour Classic supports 9 GB drives.  I
know that older PC (not intended as flame bait) BIOS and DOS configurations
had limits at 32 MB, 540 MB, 2 GB, and 8 GB.
