[Confused] I have a distinct memory of doing this but it was about 4y
ago now. I'm sure it wasn't NT4 but it might have been, I suppose.

AFAICR, no, vanilla install. XP and W2K3 are fussy about CPUs, but W2K
isn't, IME.

But now you have me doubting my memory...
