A mystic still uses a LC 575 motherboard, and as far as I know, all LC systems are incompatible with A/UX 3.x. I haven't tried A/UX on my Mystic, but if you get it working let us know. The base boot loader OS can be up to 7.1.1, so I'm sure that would work on a Mystic, but I think the unix part will freeze up because of the LC hardware. Even if the OS could be tricked into working, I'm sure the com slot or PDS ethernet cards would not work for lack of a driver.

I've got a full '040 and 128MB RAM. I see that it isn't specifically 'not supported' but didn't know if it had been done before. Thanks.
