So I wonder what your position is on CPU accelerators and other add-on's? What is the point of a PDS slot?

These items where produced to enhance the performance of the basic machine. Don't they also have a place in history? Don't add that ethernet card? Don't add more ram?

However, even I draw the line at putting a Mac Mini in a compact case! :-P
