Again, not putting words in other's mouths, but I think in deference to
other fine sites like Stuart Bell's expert nannying on both, perhaps the
list Mom is not wanting to tred on other's well established space:
Applefritter.com is THE FrankenMan defacto modification/hack site. It
depends on advertising and web traffic to stay alive just as much as LowEnd
Mac does, which has never really focused on the Macenstein mods, but
preservation and restoration. Discussions outside of "supported" mods and
upgrades should be carried on there. IMHO. There is enough traffic to read
on this list without a detailed discussion of modifications that have
nothing to do with the care and maintenance of stock compacts. Though I
routinely stretch the limits of my own philosophy I hope I am not asking
questions that don't further the understanding of the workings of the stock
compacts for us all. My 2 cents (which is substantially devalued over Dr.
Betz' Euro cents).
