What with the long running discussion about leaking electrolytic caps in the 
classic Macs, I came across this project (while searching for Motorola radio 
stuff), and thought it might be a very useful item - and apropos the subject - 
for fellow 'listers:

..it's mostly a device to measure aging cap's while they're still soldered to 
the board, which the techie says will detect about 95% of problems without 
pulling the cap (his explanation is *far* more detailed, of course); building 
the tester will require some skill & circuits experience (about as much as 
replacing the caps in the first place).

(No, I haven't built one. Yet. I just came across it, and thought y'all might 
appreciate the link.)
