I'm sure most of you are familiar with the Apple History site that Glen
has worked so hard to put togeter and maintain.
I posed the question to him about adding a section for the Apple
printers.
Now that they have all been discontinued and Apple no longer makes
printers I reasoned that once added, this section it would require
little/no maintenance.

Do we really need so much redundant information on the web? MacTracker
carries them all, and if you want to add some personal comments for
yourself, you can do it under the "resources" tab. Check out the site
(http://www.mactracker.ca), choose your platform, download the program
which is a must for every Mac aficionado IMHO and you'll see it not
only has pictures and info about every printer Apple has sold under its
name, but also that much of the content has been provided by, yes, Glen
Sanford. The repair manual .pdfs can be downloaded from Apple, and who
did ever need an "Owner's Manual" for an Apple? (I feel that I'm
getting carried away here, so please...) The text is a little
repetitive sometimes, e.g. there are no special historical explanations
in words for the different ImageWriters, but the relevant informations
are all there in the Overview section. As well as I swore by GURU for
short and quick overall info about Macs until v2.9, I swear by
MacTracker now. Thanks Ian Page and co-workers.
