Would this be the original "guided tour" disks that came with the very early 
macs, and used proprietary software that predated Tempo?

I've got a boxed Mac Plus, that as far as I know only comes with System 6 
and Hypercard disks, but I can always have another look (in a couple of 
weeks' time) to see if there are any guided tour disks in there.
