The SE FDHD showed up in August 1989. It included SuperDrive 1.4MB floppy drives instead of 800K. They later changed the SE toward the end of its production run in mid-late 1990 to say "SE SuperDrive". This was perhaps due to confusion over what the FDHD stood for.
Note that on an SE SuperDrive the text "Macintosh SE" is more condensed and smaller in general. I'm enjoying retirement from my school and had to work on a ton of SEs at the very end of my run. The SuperDrive SE is one of the better compacts made, especially if you find a bracket to mount a hard drive while keeping two floppies.
