Ok, had to pull out a Plus and try this.
Method without a 2nd floppy drive:
1) Boot from your 6.0.8 floppy 1 (System Utilities)
2) Run the installer
3) When you get to the point where you can choose your destination
disk, click "Eject disk" (or similar)
4) Insert a blank 800k floppy
5) Choose that disk to be the destination disk.
6) Make sure you've selected a package that will fit on an 800k floppy
7) Click install
8) When it indicates so, remove the 800k disk from the drive and
insert System Utilities disk back in the drive
9) Follow all on-screen instructions on the disk swapping (I think
there's one point where it asks you to insert System utilities, then it
shows a different type of dialog saying to insert the 800k floppy, just
do what the most recent command was for the swaps)
Method with 2nd floppy drive:
1) Boot from your 6.0.8 floppy in the internal drive
2) When at the desktop, insert the 800k floppy into the external drive
3) Run the installer
4) Choose the external 800k floppy as your destination and install.
