Hi, y'all!
You can't use the Apple IIe card with 7.6.1 because there is no way to
switch to the 24 bit addressing mode required by the card. The ability to
switch is no longer in the Memory Control Panel in 7.6.1.
I wonder if the need for the 24 bit addressing mode is because of the design
of the card. If not, perhaps the software for the card can be re-written.
