The Plus (and the 128/512) is different, Matt.  Uses an Eveready #523
battery, inserted into a battery chamber that is attached to the analog
board, but is accessed behind a door on the back of the machine.  Runs at
4.5 volts, instead of 3.6 volts.  So, using a battery pack that contains
three AA or AAA batteries works well.
