Yes... sort of. But Disinfectant is built for eliminating the virus; it
can't (for the best of my knowledge) repair your applications eaten by
the virus. So to put it positively, you're back to square two: you have
a working computer. Do a clean system install, trash the damaged apps
and reload them from known-good floppies or even CDs which are much
better in that they can't get infected and see if there are still
issues - I wouldn't think so. The software on your HD is gone for good,
I'm afraid, and keeps giving you bombs as before. Get rid of it. I lost
a copy of More 1.1 and one of the first release of RagTime in my first
nVir attack because I had no backups of them, silly me. I did a very
early backup of my main machine (an SE/30 at the time) on Syquests and
had it burned to a CD by my Mac dealer as all I could afford at the
time was an external CD drive, not a burner, and it saved my a?+! on
several occasions.

I had another question. I hope I'm not asking this in the wrong place,
but does anyone happen to have a spare Mac Plus by any chance?
Sorry, I have only one single Plus in my array of compacts, and I live
on the wrong side of the pond. But I am sure you'll get offers from the
list and hints galore where to find a suitable machine for next to
nothing. As for software, a CD is easily sent, even from Germany.
