Mr McDermond was kind enough to send me some disks, so my Mac
Plus lives again!
I have another problem I'd like to ask the group about though. I
have a "MacBottom SCSI" that seems to have died. The disk (a Rodime
50 pin jobby that claims to be assm. in Scotland) is getting
extremely hot and can't be detected with the 'Apple HD SC Setup' on
the Utilities disk for 6.0.8.
There are some jumpers on the bottom of the drive like this -
s1: : : : : : : : Currently, it is jumped like this: s1: : : : : : | :
Anyone know anything about these? Can I just toss a random SCSI
drive (I'd assume there are some interleaving issues ... and I
probably shouldn't use a Cheetah or Barracuda)
