Apple didn't manufactor any printer: All Stylewriter-Printer are original Canon Hardware in a Apple Case with Apple Firmware.The Stylewriter Printer are equivalent to Canon BJ200 (b/w) and Canon BJC240 (color). The Apple Catridges were build by Canon, BC02 and BC05 are the original products for your Stylewrites.
There was an interesting alternative for BC02 in Germany: Pelikan Click-Tank. Pelikan has splitted inktank and printhead for BC02. When the Printhead dryed, you must only click ones on the top of the tank and the ink clean's the head, you can easily refill the tank. Perfect solution for Ones-a-Year-Printer like me. U.
