As long as I'm on suggestions, another really helpful addition to compiz would be a "Global" near and far background color setting (the gradient start and end colors). Currently, you have to set the gradient start and end for nearly all plugins that zoom like Desktop Cube, Expo Reflection, Cube Reflection & Deformation, etc.. It would be great if there was a single 'global' setting for the background start/end gradient, then if you wanted a different one, you could 'override' the 'global' setting within the individual plugins.
