Hi,
Under certain circumstances, dnd doesn't work on my system with Qt
applications.
This only happens when Compiz is active and with Qt-native applications
(such as Qt's dnd demos).
Applications using GTK or KDElibs are unaffected. To make things even
more strange,
the dnd works on part of the screen (top-left), but after the mouse
cursor dragging an item
goes beyond a certain boundary, the drop can no longer be accepted.
Furthermore, this
boundary changes depending on window position and size. With a
maximized or full-screen window,
dnd works everywhere. But with the window getting smaller and/or moved
towards the bottom-right corner,
the portion of the screen where drop works rapidly diminishes.
I've already askes on Qt mailing list, but didn't get much feedback.
My Compiz version: 0.8.8
And yes I tried disabling or plugins and even resseting Compiz
to default configuration, to no avail though.
Any ideas?
