Oops sorry - I assumed all along y'all had enabled it by default, and knew it. All I did was install the compiz packages and pull the trigger. I got a new usability envelop, including lazy-mouse, and instant <Alt+Tab>. (I got neither the new preview-based tabbox, nor the classic one. I got the style where the target windows instantly pop up, and I can't use that because - as a programmer - I always leave too many windows open!) After reinstalling kwin, I had to edit kwinrc and essentially change AltTabStyle=CDE to AltTabStyle=KDE. Too many keystrokes changed for me to remember them all. > I have converted over 20 people from Windows to Linux, so I understand > you. (-: Now I shall figure out a way to complain to Ubuntu-land that my battery minder worked in Gutsy, and broke in Hardy. It always thinks my battery is fully charged... Yes, I know where to start looking for that one. Thanks for letting me vent... _______________________________________________ compiz mailing list compiz@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/compiz
