Bug 385446 is about the panel _never_ updating after switching desktops.
This bug is about the window list not updating until you finish
switching desktops. This bug is not possible to fix as gnome-panel only
has _one_ window that shows on all desktops so you can't show two
desktops on a cube and have them show different window lists.
Fixing this would require changing the entire way panels work in X11,
not likely to ever happen.
