See bug 414170 which was fixed by the following patch
compiz-fusion-plugins-main (0.8.3+git20090904-0ubuntu1~ppa2) karmic;
urgency=low
* debian/patches/08_disable_desktop_vpswitch.patch: Disable switching
between desktop with mousewheel over desktop background as this option
is too easily launched by mistake (LP: #414170)
