Hi, had the same problem with flashvideos eg on youtube and deactivated desktop effects.
Just to let you know: I just wanted to activate them again and couldn't. Something was preventing me from. I saw a running process named npviewer.bin on htop. Seems like it belongs to the flashplugin.
