Happens to me, too. Every day. In different situations. Compiz exits and
gnome falls back to metacity standard WM and I find this in dmesg:
compiz.real[2401]: segfault at 10 ip 00007f67fb31af07 sp
00007fffb4889588 error 4 in libGLcore.so.185.18.36[7f67fa824000+dda000]
I'm using my laptop the same way I was using it with Jaunty (which
didn't have this problem).
I have nothing valuable to add to the bug report but I wonder why this
bug was marked as "invalid" by a "friendly bot"...
