You have been subscribed to a public security bug:

When Buntu is loged on and desktop need to show up I just see white
blank screen and my cursor. That has appeared after I tick "Turn On" at
"Monitor Effects (or something like that)" Now I'm just seeing blank
screen (all white), no icons, no wallpaper...nothing. The only thing I
could see is my cursor and I can move it well. So the computer is stil
working, but I could see nothing where to click. And if I hit "turn off"
or "restart" as blind, I recognize that computer is working property. If
you could help me, I'll appreciate it. Thanks
