** Description changed: - I can not right click anything. The mouse can click on items in the main - menu but, after opening an application I can't select anything but main - title bar to move the window around. I can't even select "OK" to - shutdown system I have to use Ctl-Atl-Del. When I first installed - upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04 everything worked fine. I've been using update - manager. After turning system off then rebooting, the boot process asked - to check the system disk, I let it do so then I noticed this problem. - System is a HP Pavilion zv5000 notebook. I can open applications and - close them buy clicking on the "X" in the upper left hand corner. I can - also open the terminal and run the commands to update and upgrade the - system.
