I was able to resize windows by dragging the edges over 2 monitors using 9.04 with Nvidia drivers. After upgrading via 9.10 to 10.04 this is not possible anymore. I lost over an hour to find out about the issue.
The workarounds ALT-F8 and ALT-middle button do work - but I find it rather inconvenient to have to manually enable this in the compiz settings and still be forced to change the way I worked.
