Binary package hint: unity
When I booted into Natty for the first time I didn't get any of the
normal gnome menus, all I received was the "Examples" directory on the
Desktop and "Install Ubuntu 11.04"
By opening the Examples directory I was able to open some programs,
however all programs have the following issues:
1. No title bars are displayed (close minimise etc.)
2. Don't switch depths - when I have a program open and open another program
opens up over the top of it, clicking on the first program doesn't bring it
into the foreground.
Behaviour I was expecting is:
1. The normal gnome menus to be displayed upon startup
2. Title bars to be displayed on applications
3. Application windows should change depths when clicking between them.
