Ok, basicallly, we could make the change,
There is still a long history and the keybinding change can puzlle more
than one person. I'll let Sam (the compiz guy) to decide if he wants to
apply the change upstream or not. We will follow his decision then. Sam
can you have a look at this bug and tells me what you think about the
gnome default rationale and the keybinding change?
