I haven't switched to natty (amd64) but am still on maverick (with compiz 0.8.6 as provided by the official repos). Here it still occurs, so if there is a fix it hasn't been backported yet. I do intend to switch to natty when it is released, though, so I can reevaluate it there in about a month.
