I moved on to 10.10 in February and I'll stay there all the summer so I can't test with Natty. However I'm not using the 10.10 standard compiz. I'm using the one at ppa:yurivkhan/compiz because of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/579112 That version has almost no flickering. Not perfect but acceptable.
