Pedro many, many thanks for examining the X error and accept pardons from me. Fact of matter, I now get Xs with kxstudio 10.04.02 amd 64 much like I did with 10.04.01 did.
so, i guess my part in this should state, "10.04.01 amd64 is not a problem but kxstudio 10.04.02 amd 64 does give notice almost daily that I must finish the low latency session in X or reconfig which I do not know how to do.
