Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. start Scilab (in my case 5.3 from the official website) 2. launch Xcos [Menu](Applications→Xcos) 3. use Xcos (drag an item from the palette browser to the Xcos window right click on the item and open "Block parameters…" close the dialog again.
