I could not replicate this bug. I followed the instructions on
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CompositeManager/CompizFusion. I Tried the
following: (1) Keyboard shortcut Alt-F2. (2) Enter the command 'compiz
--replace'. (3) Wait. The window manager updated without problem. (4)
'/usr/bin/unity-window-decorator' from within a terminal; successfully.
(5) Prt Scr key. Saved the file (png). (6) Viewed the png.
Using ccsm, "Fading Windows" and "Window Decoration" compiz effects are
enabled.
More details of your setup are required.
Running Ubuntu 11.10 alpha 3, installed by upgrading from 11.04.
