Don't know why, but now this problem of double clicking on the maximised window and not been able to move the window around any more happens only with thunderbird, the other applications seem not affected any more. I launched an update and I also tried to install different video drivers, but had to reinstall the ones I had, so I don't know which of the two actions might have caused this.
