You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Compiz "put" plugin is broken with unity.
Window can be thrown on arbitrary desktop only once. And it is not always land
on desired desktop.
e.g., I'm sending window to desktop 7 with <ctrl><super>7. It may go there, but
it also may randomly end up on desktop 5.
in both cases this window can not be thrown anywhere again. If I go to desktop
where this window is now positioned, and try to thow it somewhere again,
nothing happens.
