Thanks Dave for your feedback -- I think the information is quite helpful. So, just to be clear: You DO have this problem when switching workspaces with Ctrl-Alt-<arrow> (and hence never "zooming out" to Expo view)?
IOW, my present working hypothesis is that going into Expo view is essential to triggering the problem, but it sounds like you have evidence contrary to this supposition. Have I understood correctly?
