Another note - if I had music player running right before suspend it resumes to playback music right after I woke up my PC (I mean at least very soon like few seconds). Though screen is black for next say 30 seconds with only mouse cursor visible and moving with mouse movements. I'd say that this proves concept of OS being awake and only video output is somehow disabled.
