Decided to install gnome 3 desktop enviroment. Got it working with accelerate 3D graphics as well. Problem is repeated here. I"m not sure it's compiz as gnome 3 DE shouldn't be using Compiz. Maybe someone can redirect to correct packages.
The problem is that when you lock the host computer and come out of it, the vm 3d screen does not come back.
