You have been subscribed to a public bug: I've had this happen 3 times now. I've gotten a white rectangular box show up in the corner of the screen. The box is of varying sizes, and only goes away after a reboot.
I've been using chrome every time it's happened, but I don't know that it's caused by chrome specifically.
