Hi Daniel, I have this problem on a MacBook air with latest 12.04. Compiz/X.org are often at 50% CPU. My desktop with a different NVidia Card doesn't seem to have this problem. At least not nearly as bad.
I have attached my stacks.txt to the bug in case that is helpful...
