Hi, I have logged with Gnome and Ubuntu 2D but still have a similar graphic problem. In Ubuntu 2D, the Unity left menu appears with few icons. In Ubuntu 3D, the problem child seems to be a list of 7 "broken dependencies" affecting Compiz when running Synaptic.
In addition, here is the warning and error when running: fred@fred-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get -f install && sudo apt-get update or fred@fred-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade ... dpkg: warning: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 24314 package 'handbrake-cli': error in Version string 'svn3406ppa1~lucid1': version number does not start with digit dpkg: error: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 40509 package 'urecorder': blank line in value of field 'Description' E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2) Best regards ** Package changed: ubuntu => compiz (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/992265 Title: Limited graphics after upgrade to 12.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/992265/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
