Romano: these hidden interface elements (menu+window controls) actually does not work on tablet devices without mouse, as it is not possible to move the mouse pointer without clicking.
For netbook devices with mouse and small screen the current behavior could be the best (but should be a user choice). On my device, there is not enough space for menu+indicators+window controls.
