Yes, this bug is fixed, the warning is gone from the terminal. The
warning however never bothered me but the constant crashes with the
proposed package do.

I read in the linked guide:

, that "If you encounter a regression in a package that has been uploaded to 
*-proposed, please:":
step 5: Set the verification-failed tag on the corresponding SRU bug report.
